Are you more expensive than couriers since you are outsourcing them?

Courier prices are influenced by the service type and quality of service. Thus we are not the cheapest but our quality service speaks for itself.

Do you have branches?

We currently have two branches. Situated in Strand (Cape Town) and Pretoria, but we deliver a national and international courier service.

Where is my parcel?

You can track your parcel via our online tracking system. Refer to the page and enter your waybill/tracking number (GOB10000....)

What is volumetric weight and how do I calculate it?

Volumetric weight:
It's a pricing technique for commercial freight transport (including courier and postal services), which uses an estimated weight that is calculated from the length, width and height of a package.
The Measurement of volumetric weight is made by way of a calculation that converts the volume (ie. size of parcel) into a kilogram equivalent.
To calculate volumetric weight:
Simply measure the parcel/box (remember to package the parcel before measuring as packaging can increase the size) in centimetres and then multiply the three dimensions and divide by the volumetric conversion factor applicable to the service requested, giving the volumetric weight in kilograms.
For example:
(LENGTH (cm) x BREADTH (cm) x HEIGHT (cm) = No. KG’S) / 5000 (VOLUME CONVERSION FACTOR) 45cm x 50cm x 42cm = 18.9 KG’S (Remember to round up) / 5000

Do you have your own waybills?

We unfortunately do not own our own waybills. We use the waybills of our service providers.

What is the difference between Overnight and Next Day courier service?

Overnight courier service:
This is our express service, guaranteed delivery before 10am or 1pm depending which service you choose.
Next Day service:
This is our premium economy service.
Next day (not guaranteed) in Major centres. Outlying areas can take up to 3 days to be delivered.

How should I package my shipment?

Whenever possible, use a new box. The more times a box is used, the more it loses its original protective qualities, so a previously used box may not adequately protect your shipment.
If you must reuse a box, make sure it is rigid and in excellent condition with no punctures, tears, rips, or corner damage, and that all flaps are intact. Remove any labels and all other shipment markings from the box.
Please use proper cushioning material, combined with a strong outer container, to protect your shipment fully. Make sure you use enough cushioning material to ensure that the contents do not move when you shake the container.

Are my goods insured?

Unfortunately we do not offer our cash client the option of insurance. Only our account holders have an option of insurance. Please contact our offices for more information.
